Description:-

Carapace squarish; dorsal surface relatively flat. Presence of one minute antero-lateral tooth. Regions of carapace well defined and covered with short stiff setae. Chelipeds much smaller than pereiopods. Pereiopods highly flattened laterally. Presence of distinct spiny hairs on lateral margins of propodus and dactylus of pereiopods; Dactylus of pereiopods acuminate. Frontal region broad with 4 ridged portion between the inner angles of the orbit. Presence of horizontal groove like processes on the posterior half of the carapace. Posterior margin of carapace almost straight Eyestalk elongated; laterally placed in the orbit. Dark brownish grey on the carapace with the tip of appendages orangish violet.
