Description:-

Shell medium sized, body whorl inflated; spire smaller than body whorl; apex pointed; whorls angulate at the shoulders, Sculpture strong with broad axial ribs fainting towards the posterior region of the body whorl; spiral cords thin separated by shallow grooves crossing the axial ribs at the shoulder; Aperture wide; outer lip thick, flexed posteriorly, with distinct teeth on to the interior extending further inwards as lirae corresponding with intervals between spiral ribs on outside; columella calloused and irregularly wrinkled; anterior canal broad and short, posterior canal absent, umbilicus absent; fasciole distinct; periostracum thick brown; colour yellowish white, aperture white with a slight tinge of orange.
