Description:-
Shell small up to 23mm in length; spire elevated and taller than body whorl; sutures distinct; Sculpture composed of strong axial ribs intermittent with occasional varices and spiral cords; Aperture small and lirate within; varix seen at the margin of outer lip; small plications seen on columella; anterior canal short; colour yellowish with white aperture.
Remark:-
Bijukumar (2012) recorded the presence of this species from Kerala coast.
