Elongate shape, large; its weakly sculptured surface; spire elevated; sculptured with fine close set granular spiral ribs peripheral row of small nodules, and single strong recurved spine present adjacent to anterior canal;inner margin of outer lip flared and denticulate with irregular sheped tooth on inner margin; Operculum fan shaped; colour light brown with dark brown markings occasionally
