Shell small, ovate acuminate with pointed apex; body whorl more than two third as long as spire; sculpture composed of prominent axial ridges; Aperture wide; thick outer lip, base of aperture finely toothed on interior margin; colour whitish with irregular brownish streaks; axial ridges dark brown
