Description:-
shell medium sized; solid, heavy. Body whorl broadly conical; outline concave tapering towards base; shoulder carinate and stepped; spire not elevated, apex obtuse and pointed; aperture wide and elongate; ground colour white with brownish axial streaks extending to shoulder; two discontinuous pale brown spiral bands running around the body whorl; early whorls pale brown; aperture white; periostracum thin, smooth and translucent
Remark:-
Franklin and Laladhas (2014) reported the occurrence of this species from Kerala coast.
Habitat:-
Continental shelf; sub tidal; sandy substrates
