Description:-
Shell strong, medium-sized, moderately solid, thick; spire concave sided and compressed with a pointed apex; body whorl conical, with convex outline becoming straight towards base; Shoulder angulate; sutural ramps flat, spiral striae obsolete; Last whorl with weak to obsolete spiral ribs at base. Ground colour white or cream. Body whorl ornamented with a pale orange spiral band and spiral rows of dark brow uneven dots.
Remark:-
The venom is toxic enough to cause paralysis. Franklin and Laladhas reported it from Kerala coast
Habitat:-
Intertidal; shallow sub tidal; Sandy substrates.
