Description:-
Shell hard and thick; moderate size; solid; body whorl conical in outline; shoulder angulate; spire not elevated; body whorl sculptured with weak spiral striae becoming faintly prominent towards the base; aperture narrow elongate and straight in outline; body whorl pale yellow; base deep bluish violet.
Remark:-
Franklin and Laladhas (2014) reported it from Kerala coast.

Inter tidal; shallow sub tidal; coaral and sandy substrates
