Shell medium sized; turreted; spire tall, elongate, extending more than the length of the body whorl; sculpture composed of spiral grooves interspersed by wide spaces; spiral cords three ; beaded situated below sutures; Aperture wide; outer lip thin; columella smooth; colour light brown
