Description:-

Shell small in size, thin, conical; narrower towards anterior region; sculpture composed of spiral ridges that are strong; interspaces provided with weaker riblets; axial ridges crossed by concentric ridges; apex slightly shifted towards anterior end with a small perforation; ventral surface smooth; extending external ribs contributing to wrinkled ventral margin; whitish rim seen around perforation on ventral side; colour creamy white; rays reddish brown; ventral surface smooth glossy white.

Rao,2003 has recorded the presence of this species from Kerala coast.
