Description:-

shell moderate sized; pyriform; spire deeply compressed; three broad distinct transverse bands seen on dorsal surface seen interrupted by two pale and narrow bands; anterior extremity constricted and slightly margined; teeth coarse and reddish brown; dorsal side coloured dark chestnut brown; extremeties deeply coloured; aperture wide.
