Description:-

Shell medium sized, thick; whorls inflated; spire elevated; sculpture composed of granulose, spiral ridges producing beaded appearance; Aperture round, columella with a conspicous tooth at base; outer lip thick; spiral ridges on dorsal side extending upto margin therby providing a toothed appearance; interior of aperture iridescent; colour deep grayish brown; umbilicus not so prominent in adult specimens
