Description:-
Shell medium sized, thin, Spire not elevated; body whorl inflated with deep suture; Sculpture composed of thin axial ridges intercepted by prominent spiral ridges forming a reticulate appearance; Aperture wide, outer lip slightly thickened towards the anterior end; Ground colour light brown with spiral bands off white and scattered dark brown blotches.

Babu Philip and Appukuttan,(1995); Bijukumar (2012) and Franklin and Laladhas (2014); recorded the presence of this species along coast of Kerala
