Description:-
Shell medium sized; body whorl inflated; spire compressed with pointed apex; sculpture composed of prominent spiral ridges intercepted by deep grooves providing beaded appearance on surface; Surface reticulate due to obsolete axial threads; Aperture wide with thin and posteriorly expanded outer lip; columella sinuous; colour pale brown with white bands and large blotches; Aperture faintly purplish.
