Description:-

shell large; clubshaped, smooth; last whorl bearing a spiral ridge; spire raised and composed of 6-7 rotund whorls; sutures deep, slightly compressed; body whorl rotund; sculpture of body whorl composed of three varices bearing spines axial coastae three to four and nodulose; spiral sculpture composed of three primary cords interspersed by secondary and tertiary cords; primary cords bearing long and straight spines; secondary cords with short spines; aperture large; anal sulcus wide, not deep outer lip erect, conspicuously crenulated on lower part; labial tooth present; inner lip detached; siphonal canal elongate and bearing 7 spines that decrease in size towards anterior end; narrowly open; colour light brown, aperture white, extremities of spines tinged light purple.
