Description:-

This sponge is composed of finger shaped or flattened branches. Surface may or may not have strong conules. Conulesare prominent at growing tips. Osculesare irregularly distributed and may be terminal or marginal, rounded or elliptical, shallow and compound with diameter up to 4mm. Colour is pale yellow when alive. Dermal skeleton is reticulate with meshes triangular or subdivided by tertiary fibers which are eitheruni or multispicular. Main skeleton consists of primaries of 0.12mm and connectives of 0.08mm diameter.
