Description:-

shell moderately large; broadly cone shaped; apex slightly elevated; base moderately concave; sculpture composed of obliquely transpiral closely arranged, wrinkled striae; base sculptured with inter crossing granular, curved radial and concentric ridges extending towards the margin; empty gastropod shells; bivalves; stones etc are seen cemented to the dorsal part of the shell; aperture dorsoventrally compressed; callus smooth and polished, seen extending over the body whorl; colour whitish base tinged with pale yellow

Rao (2003) reported the occurrence of this species in Kerala.
