Description:-

Exumbrella look smooth, most specimens have brownish yellow spot uniformly scattered over the pale white umbrella. The eight rhopalia furrowed in the exumbrellar pit. The rhopalia themselves are tipped with brownish pigment spot. Marginal lappet small with pointed edge. The velar lappet are considerably longer than narrow, pointed ocular lappet sub tending the marginal sense organ and are arranged four pair – each octant of the umbrella.

This species is a common in all estuaries and brackish water of Kerala (Nair, 1946, 1951; Riyas, 2013).
