Description:-

Dark brownish in colour with smooth exoskeleton. Rostrum with 5-6 dorsal teeth, no ventral teeth smooth carapace, third maxilliped and second pereopod with with basial spine, petasma asymmetrical, last abdominal segment long and slender, posterior extension of thelycal plate with distinct median sulcus and angular posterior-lateral corners.

Common catch in deep sea trawlers in Kerala coast.
